There are two museums here in what used to be an industrial area. One is the museo dello sbarco: the museum of the American led invasion of Sicily in 1943. The other museum is the cinema museum. Both are runny exceedingly friendly staff that go out of their way to make sure you have a good time. The invasion museum has interesting footage of the invasion itself and some interesting objects. For original objects there's comparatively little to be seen in the cinema museum but it's a fun ride nonetheless. And the terrain is fun to wonder around. They reacreated a Sicilian House and each room has movie scenes specific to that room (e.g Trainspotting for toilet, Psycho and others for bathtub etc.) You get to understand how Sicilians live, and also enjoy movie scenes. This is such a little gem of a place that you shouldn't miss. Ar the begining it is a little boring and confusing, but then you enter "The House of Cinema" and the experience is nice, cozy and filed with detailed decours and objects. No translation needed, just observe and enjoy!
