Ermice — Attraction in Eboli

Although the environment itself and its surrounding area aren't actively respected in the ecological sense, which is common for Italy's far south, it offers enchanting corners of raw, deep green forest. The locals are familiar with it and treat it with that typical confidence, so as to take it for granted still treasuring it. An environmental pearl concealed in its underlying mud, as it were, deliberately. One can go for a stroll uphill and encounter a herd of semi-wild horses and on the way dip into the stream and chase tiny frogs and spot tadpoles. There is rubbish all around the most beautiful spots and right at the entrance, where gangs of local youth, resembling crews from hip-hop music videos, gather by a municipal building, as if they were guarding the tainted virginity...

Breve sentiero che segue un tratto del fiume, facilmente percorribile, adatto a tutti. In circa 10 minuti si arriva ai primi salti del fiumiciattolo che attraversa la valle, durante il percorso forma cascate e piccoli laghetti, contornato dalla caratteristica vegetazione, bassa quali felci, acanto e piante dagli alti fusti, che ben riparano dal sole. Vi sono delle panchine in legno con annessi tavoli per picnic. Peccato l'estrema trasandatezza del sito e la molta immondizia...
