Lido di Faggeto Miamilaryo — Attraction in Faggeto Lario

We were really looking forward to a relaxing lunch at Lido di Faggeto, but unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing.

When we arrived, we were told that reserving a sunbed and a table for lunch was no problem. We asked if we could quickly park the car (which took less than two minutes) and then return. They assured us it would be fine. However, when we came back, a different lady at reception informed us that all spots were now taken. She told us we might get a table if we waited… so we waited about 15 minutes, which wasn’t too bad, but that’s where the real issues started.

The service was genuinely disappointing. The staff seemed visibly annoyed or in a bad mood. They forgot simple things: we were brought a bottle of water without any glasses, we never got any bread (not even as an appetizer or with the salad or the beef tartare), and overall, it felt chaotic. At one point, a server began clearing my side of the table while my girlfriend was still eating — without even asking if I was finished.

The food itself was okay — nothing special, but not terrible either.

All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re just planning to stop by for a quick swim. Definitely not worth it if you’re expecting friendly service or a relaxing lunch...

This place is a little gem. We had booked 4 sunbeds for half a day in the afternoon and turned up a little early to have food there also. The food was excellent and really good value, my compliments to the kitchen staff. Once we'd finished eating we were shown to our sunbed area where we had tables available if we wanted to sit for more food or drinks later, they also leave you a little wifi device which you can just press for service from the bar, which we made use of a few times for great aperol spritzers and deserts. One thing to bear in mind is that the rocks are quite slippery if you are going to make your way into the lake for a swim, alternatively just laying there and watching others try and navigate this obstacle is quite entertaining too. It was a great afternoon spent here, then we just caught the ferry back to the other side of the lake to our lodgings. Well worth it . Thank you...

The worst place I have visited in Italy. The worst pizza,like a pure in the middle and dough is falling apart. When I said it is not good, they brought new one but it is still the same. The worst was when I came to pay I said I am sorry but pizza in your place is really not good. After all discussions manager said I have something wrong with my taste and I was making fun of me and saying that I just came here to pay for free. When I told her they she had no right to speak with me in such a rude way she start to scream in Italian. In the end I paid my bill but not for pizza. When we were leaving she was screening Stay home and don’t go anywhere. I was with my mom, my small daughter and also I am pregnant. Thank you. Let the God take care of their actions. I let go...
