Sayonara Beach Naxos — Attraction in Giardini-Naxos

Beware of this place! 1) They list 'parking' amongst the facilities, but the truth is that you need to stop at the lido and collect a ticket. After that you need to go back to your car and drive till a parking place in Recanati where you can drop your car for "just" 8 euro. Following this you will be put on a shuttle which will bring you back to the lido. Pure madness. ( the public parking in the nearby streets costs 1 euro per hour, much more convenient). 2) They list 'wifi'. Nope! It doesn't work, so, if you need it, they will ask you for your phone and write down their own password.( not the most professional thing). 3)" showers... forget that you can easily go and have a shower when you please! You need to go and grab a special coin everytime you need to take a shower. It last around 15/30 seconds. Then you have to insert the coin again and again. And droo it back at the till when you are done. This was by far the most annoying thing of the day( it was so hot!l 4) At the bar the manager spoke to his employees thinking that no one understood italian or could hear him, saying there was no need to rush, since they couldn't care less about the guests, if the guests were unhappy and left, it was no important at all! 5) 3 bags of crisps, 1 espresso, 1 beer and 1 granita 24 euros. When I asked to veritfy the amount I was told: " are you joking?". I insisted and in fact I was overcharged of 4 euros.

Guys, go...

Two tickets for 6 eur. Cashier girl gets angry when being asked why 15 eur for the two of us, saying 'its a private beach'. Well it came as a surprise that 2 beds and umbrella need to be purchased for another 9, as it was not advertised anywhere. Complete information is expected!

Gobs of sales gentlemen lurk around and you keep repeating no thank you. They feel hurt if you aren't exactly greeting them properly, just saying no. We were given instructions about how to show respect for salesmen. Have them removed, this is a pay-service. Beverages are expensive and are served with bad attitude plus the man started collecting coins in my purse, until I warned him. Also, everything's Italian only, including info from the loudspeakers.

Nice beach otherwise if you don't mind some plants on the bottom, bad luck if you paid for it like us.

At the end of the parking lot (3 eur) you can get to the SAME BEACH for FREE and still rent an umbrella and beds if you want.

Se si potesse dare zero lo farei. Non saprei nemmeno da dove cominciare per descrivere una serata surreale che, a quanto vedo dalle tantissime altre recensioni di esperienze simili, trova riscontro. Avevamo immaginato che l'accoglienza non fosse delle migliori sin da quando, un'ora prima, di passaggio dal locale, abbiamo parlato con una signora, probabilmente la titolare, la quale si è dimostrata subito prevenuta, con fare saccente e sarcastico, alla nostra domanda (non richiesta) di poter avere un tavolo lato mare. Un'ora dopo, presentati puntuali all'orario di prenotazione, ci viene riferito che ci avrebbero fatti sedere appena si sarebbe liberato il primo tavolo. Mi domando a che serva allora la prenotazione. Dopo un quarto d'ora ci fanno accomodare, e qui viene il bello: ben 50 minuti SOLO PER PRENDERE LA COMANDA! Lasciando stare che fosse sabato, il locale non ha così tanti coperti, e l'attesa per prendere solo la comanda era oggettivamente ingiustificata e ingiustificabile. Tra l'altro, alla domanda di una donna anziana, diabetica, su che tempi sarebbero passati su per giù per arrivare le pizze (doveva regolarsi per quando prendere le pillole), la titolare rispondeva, asserendo con toni sgarbati, maleducati e arroganti, che lei non fosse in contatto con la cucina e che non poteva saperlo. Mi domando che razza di locale sia uno in cui non c'è comunicazione tra i vari "attori". Ad ogni modo, ci vengono portate subito le birre. Cominciamo a bere già sfiancati da un'ora di attesa, in cui da commensali siamo diventati la cena delle zanzare. Passata un'altra mezzora senza che arrivassero le pizze (totale un'ora e mezza di attesa da quando ci eravamo seduti), alla nostra richiesta di parlare con la titolare, si avvicinava un cameriere con fare prevenuto, e cominciava clamorosamente a inveire contro una persona con il doppio della sua età, dandogli del maleducato solo perchè, esasperati, avremmo quanto meno voluto parlare con la signora per farci cambiare le birre ormai diventate brodino. Ma niente, la richiesta non poteva essere accolta, il cameriere aveva sentenziato che avremmo dovuto parlare con lui e solo con lui. Visto che più che un locale, ormai sembrava essere diventato il set di un film dell'orrore, decidiamo di andarcene, e molto correttamente ci presentiamo alla cassa per pagare il solo beverage. Ebbene, dopo un iniziale errore di conto in eccesso (si spera in buona fede), ci viene addebitato, oltre alle birre, anche il coperto di ben 3 euro a persona. Non avendo toccato nemmeno un tovagliolo e/o una posata. Ovviamente nessun tentativo di scusarsi, nessuno spirito di autocritica, nessuna volontà di rimediare. Solo presunzione e sgarbatezza, senza vergogna proprio. A MAI PIU'! Ognuno tragga le conclusioni che vuole, ma invito a leggere tutte le altre...
