The city is WOW!!! The vibe reminds me of Locotorondo . It also has a view point. The Old city is pretty big and beautiful and it ends with castle. I would definitely recommend the city if you want to experience more local town that is not so...

Grottaglie heeft ons echt verrast. Toen wij er waren, viel ons bezoek precies samen met het keramiekfestival – en wat een geluk was dat! De smalle straatjes waren gevuld met kleurrijke kraampjes, muziek en de geur van lokale lekkernijen. Overal waar je keek, zag je het ambacht en de passie van de keramisten terug. Het mooiste was dat we zelf mochten meedoen aan een workshop. Met onze handen in de klei, samen lachen en proberen, voelden we ons echt even onderdeel van deze traditie. En hoe bijzonder is het om daarna met zelfgemaakte souvenirs naar huis te gaan, die je steeds weer terugbrengen naar dat magische moment in Puglia? Een ervaring die we niet snel...
