Everything is on display, where other museums carefully curate few displayed pieces and keep rest of collection in the vaults here they reconstructed different periods burials or dwelings and than a horde of finds is piled up for visitors to get lost in, sometimes not even behind the glass. On our first visit we stayed till staff literally started turning lights off, so next day we all came back and spent whole morning till it was time to leave marina and sail to next island. If you are someone who enjoys history and museums collections in this one are really something...

Old church with beautiful exterior and stunning interior! This is a must visit if you are on Lipari! It’s free to enter, and it’s breathtaking to walk around the church. There is an option to pay 1€ to enter the older Norman era part of the church- it’s amazing to see the old structure and learn a bit about the history- would highly recommend
