Interesting. Not much else to be written about such a place. But I'll go on ahead. Clearly there's not much to do in the island of Sardinia anyway but do check this place out if you're around! First they show a short film to a smallish group of people (which they claimed would be in English but ended up being in Italian or Sardic, como quieras) and then they herd the sheeple with spiked interests into the museum area. Don't go into this with a monumental museum like the Met or the Prado as a reference, for it will look like a pitiful exhibit put together in some dude's guest house in comparison. Take into account it's in a pretty small town in a relatively small island, so the scale of the museum will be appropriately matched to that. Generally glad I went but it's also possible to feel kind of underwhelmed simply because one can power through the whole thing in 10 minutes or less. That can feel disappointing especially if the drive there was long. Also I'm not one to read the flashcard things next to the pieces much and I'm sure that contributed to how fast I absorbed the stuff. Over all, the place is well put together and clean and everything, just kinda small regarding what they have on display. Cute town as...
Read moreNot worth visiting. It’s a 20 min movie & 2 small rooms with small number of masks. Masks are poorly described, though some really nicely carved. Would be great if this is more interactive & simply better arranged. Written guide - was acutely a plus, but not enough One thing - which is worth noticing - marketing of the place is really good, and town is helping out with displaying...
