IN CASE YOU ARE A TOURIST AND YOU PLAN ON GOING THERE, DONT!!!!!!!!!!!! groups of northfafrican youngsters roam for potential victims police and local security are basicly non responding almost no one helps you unless you speak italian
i was visiting the park with my son around 19.30 o clock. we were at the playground when a young male did viciously punch me in the face and kicked after my 18 month old son after figuring out that i was not italian. he knocked me over to rip of my chain from my neck. luckily i got up fast and ran away with my son to ask for help. bystanders did ignore me, since i couldnt speak italian. luckily 1 couple did help me out. they worked as translators. after 2 mins the aggressor came back with 3 additional guys as backup. we ran away. we called the police and they did need 2 hours to come, told me to report on station next morning and when i came there, no one wanted to take my report.
all in all i can just say: it might look like a beautiful park, it might be a somewhat "better" area, but these people know why they are roaming there. easy victims, no help by bystanders and no one will proceed them cause you cannot...

Read moreLarge open area with plenty of walking paths lined with trees and plantings that are a joy to walk through.
I needed a break from the crowds so I ventured over to BAM Bibliotheca degli Alberi Milano for a long walk through the park. Nestled between a few very tall buildings the park is an amazing contrast to the color of the sky and structures.
Many of the plantings are labeled so you can identify most of them. There are some flowers in bloom but with the intense sun and heat, the color is starting to drain from the plants. There is a rose garden at the park which is in full bloom with some beautiful pink roses.
People use the park as a gathering place with friends, one group was training with a fitness coach and plenty just walking about.
Highly recommend a visit to experience this...
