Castello di Monte Ursino — Attraction in Noli

If you're ever in Noli then make the effort to get up to the castle. It is a fascinating piece of history and the walkways that have been cleverly constructed around the walls allow you to see it from every angle. Francesco was more than happy to tell us about the history of the castle and his colleague in traditional dress gladly posed for photos. As a bonus, there are some spectacular views of the surrounding area and you should get to enjoy it in peace while everyone else is just sitting...

Splendid panoramic views of Noli and the sea. Entry only 2 euro pp, you can pay 4 euro pp and have a private guided tour with one of the volunteers. Nice little castle, we really enjoyed the tour and the views. The guide recommended us even a delicious restaurant where we had lunch later. Totally worth visit.

We came via car, there is free parking just up from the castle if you don't want...

Nice castle with good views over Noli. The climb up from town is steep but doesn’t take to long. Remember to bring some water with you if you plan visit in the summer.
