We passed through Orgosolo around midday, between 12 and 1 pm. The streets were almost deserted, giving the town a quiet, timeless feeling. The bright weather and the colorful murals painted across the walls turned this silence into something special. Each mural felt like a story waiting to be discovered.

Beautiful art, highly (and refreshing) political in an old mountain village. Sure enough, tourism left his traces compared to years ago when I first visited Orgosolo the first time but still not too much - cars still driving through the little main road and you have to watch out.
