Parking: it is a bit messy in the city so you need to be prepared in a timely manner to find a good spot (we got lucky as we almost got a ticket but managed to get away on time 😅) Customer service: if others here told the customer service could improve, I think it has! Or we just visited on a good day. Instructions were clear and customer service was very nice to us. Felt secure and everything was OK and nice. 😊🙏 (Although they called me madame and I'm only 27 😅 Still. Very cute they were) Prices: 79 eur per couple, 2 flights + 8 eur 4 pictures The climb from 1 flight to another: take a huge water bottle with you because on a hot day it is very much needed on the 30min walk. If you have heart or some serious condition, it is not recommended. You can take the water bottle and some other things on your flight with you so that's nice. T-shirt is needed!!! Don't wear flappy clothes as they might hurt the skin on the flight and flap on your skin. I made that mistake. Better to put it around your hips if it is with you. So don't wear loose clothes if possible. The flight itself: terryfing and astonishing. Amazing. Once in a lifetime...
Read moreWhat started as an amazing experience, ended with me feeling very scared and unsafe.
We started in Castelmezzano. The staff were amazing. There was one gentlemen who was covered in tattoos (didn’t get his name) that made me and my boyfriend feel really comfortable because we were super nervous. He joked around with us and even placed my boyfriend’s hand in mine after we were strapped in, which was such a sweet thing to do! The flight was absolutely amazing and beautiful. I felt safe and the staff were all so kind.
On the way back to Castelmezzano from Pietrapertosa, I felt that my straps were loose. It didn’t feel secure like the way the staff did it in Castelmezzano. At the top of the zip line, I mentioned this to the staff member and he told me to just lay down and put my feet up. Throughout the flight, I felt terrified because my chest was loose and I was really scared that something would happen.
Overall, the process was safe and all the staff members were kind. We even left with some fun pictures. The only thing that ruined it for me was how i was scared for my wellbeing on the flight back. I wish things had ended...
Read moreWhat an experience...go for it. About 30 minutes from the motorway and you are in an amazing village. Parking is a little hard as it is a 'small' village' We paid to park . We started from Pietrapertosa and this mean't the first flight was slower and the ground disappears a little more slowly. Bit of confusion on the other side as the non-english-speaking Italian told us not to get on the bus, refused to check our tickets, and would not allow us on the bus we needed. I think they should consider ensuring all the team can speak more than Italian as this is an international tourist attraction. There is a good 20 minute walk to the next zip line departure point and this one seems faster and the ground disappears far more quickly. We both loved this and the place and scenery are beautiful.
Oh and you can take a zipped up small backpack if you need one (camera / phone/...
