Beach Tirrenia 2 — Attraction in Pisa

Going to this region of Italy I didn’t expect much from beaches here, but there was hope. A free beach here is a small line crowded with people, however being here in the 2nd part of August we could still find an area to lie down - further from the sea, but with less people around, which was good. No shower, although at a nearby beach you could shower for 5€. Bad quality toilets, but walking 1 minute to the same nearby beach you can go to a free, better WC. The bar nearby is quite nice, serving warm and cold snacks. Maybe it was the season, but the sea was all wavy, not clear water, full of big purple jelly fish - see the photo. Preciso una stella per l'amministrazione del comune e per le autorità competenti. 🤬🤬🤬 Vergogna per l'amministrazione pubblica e per il demanio lasciare solo un pezzo di spiaggia libera così piccolo su km di arenile a pagamento! Oggi domenica 9 luglio un incubo! Non c'era un millimetro quadrato di posto e sinceramente anche le situazioni igieniche e di sicurezza in acqua intendo, non potevano essere garantite per densità di persone e presenza di un bagnino ogni 100 metri. I bagni del bar collegato erano invece incredibilmente puliti quindi un plauso agli sforzi dei gestori in queste condizioni (5 stelle per loro). Occorre distribuire la pressione turistica non a pagamento su tratti più lunghi di spiagge non in concessione. Spero in un ripensamento a breve da parte delle amministrazioni che non sia al soldo delle associazioni dei balneari e di privati interessi...

Beautiful free sandy beach. Unfortunately, free is not always good since it lacks the elementary services. No bar, no toilet, no garbage cans. This all adds up with time and spoils the mood....
