Tower is reopened and i visited today 12th May 2025. Simple museum and remains of Roman villa included in price. Views from the tower and the wall are great but 8 euros way expensive.

Nel 1977 durante i lavori di restauro della Torre della Linguella, vennero alla luce i resti di una villa romana risalente al I secolo a.C. denominata "Villa Romana della Linguella". I reperti ritrovati sono custoditi nell'adiacente Museo Archeologico, ma trattasi di poco materiale in quanto grazie alla costruzione della Torre nel 1548 e alle successive incurie, sono andati perduti, visibili solamente alcuni mosaici e parti quasi irriconoscibili della villa.

Chissà se aperto… Purtroppo, per una questione di itinerario programmato, siamo capitati in questo luogo alle ore 14:20 e come da orari specificati all’ingresso era chiuso. Non sappiamo se domenica 03-08-25 sarebbe stato aperto ma sta di fatto che lo abbiamo visto solo dall’esterno e dal traghetto della Toremar quando siamo arrivati stamattina. Da vedere e visitare il Museo Archeologico interno.
