Ciappea — Attraction in Recco

You can park your car, if lucky, there are a small number of parking spaces. Then about 20-30 steps and you can further hop on the rocks to the sea. I wouldn't go there without swimming shoes. But then the whole experience depends how experienced you are with these rocky beaches. Choose a place to leave your things and then carefully choose your steps to the water, because some algae growing there is very slippery. Use your bottom to slide in, if nothing else works. But it is climbing out that is more difficult. Two of us scratced our elbows and knees quite badly. There might be a shower, depending which steps...

Per raggiungerla:....Uscita Autostrada: Recco (GE)...Seguire per Sori (GE) Svoltare per Lungomare Italia - ''Bagni Marisa''.....Tipica scogliera nei pressi di Mulinetti, posta tra Sori e Recco (GE). Con la sua limpida acqua "verde smeraldo" ha attratto milioni di persone, tanto che chi l' ha vista una volta non ha resistito alla tentazione di tornarvi. E' conosciuta tra i giovani per i suoi alti picchi a strapiombo sul mare da cui effettuare incredibili tuffi. Tra questi ricordiamo la famosa "Madonnetta" e la "Terrazza". Molti giovani, nei periodi di mare mosso, si divertono sfruttando le onde che si creano su di una secca nelle vicinanze della riva. I fondali nascondono una meravigliosa fauna, tanto che non sono pochi i sommozzatori che vengono a vederla (ultimamente anche le scuole-sub). Parcheggi nelle vie più cercate a Recco!!
