Let me just say THIS PLACE IS A GOD SEND (if you’re a nerd like me). We happened on this place after a late dinner around 11:30pm just looking for a bar and fell upon heaven. The place was PACKED and we were heartbroken when we didn’t see open seats only to find out they also have a ton of seating downstairs! Whooo! Nearly every board game you can imagine, a great drink menu, and random snacks to keep you going. I will say don’t order the carbonara (but my fault for trying to order that at a board game bar, who do I think I am). The staff are SO friendly and the space is just so wonderful. If you’re not sure what to do with a night in Rome then do yourself and hopefully with a group of friends a favor- GO HERE.!

I got recommended to visit Civettoni and boy was I in for a treat! As I arrived Alberto greeted me in Italian, then english! Alberto was in need of a coffee so he took me to a close by cafe for an espresso (his shout 🤯). After which we went back to the awesome store and got shown a few things I was looking for, and recommended some local favourites. I could have spent a long time browsing the jam packed store (games in english, bilingual and Italian) but had to get a move on. Now came the surprise, as it was May the 4th (Star Wars Day) Alberto gave me a Star Wars game for free! And as an extra bonus a packet of Italian cards. Definitely will be back!

This was such a surprise - this is one of the best board gaming shops I ever went to! There is such a large variety of games: Big releases, smaller ones, rare games, as well as a few used games that become cheaper the older they are. I'm sure everyone will find the perfect game here. But, not only that: There's also a lot of dice and books for roleplaying games there. 🎲 The best aspect is that Alberto took a lot of time to show me around and showed me all the games he sells here. Thank you so much for that! ☺️ TL;DR: When you're in Rome and just remotely interested in board games and/or roleplaying games, you should definitely visit this store! ✌️

Great store! They have a wide variety of games including used ones and knowledgeable staff to help you sort through all their choices. They also have some demo games available to try. Prices are very competitive as well and I don't mind spending a few extra euros to support a local shop. They are working to order a game for you they may not have in store at the moment as well. There is also a pub nearby connected to this place they offers drinks and games to play for a while. In this way you can try even more new games and then buy the ones you like at the shop! Very nice strategy ;) We now have a personal wishlist of board games and we'll be returning to add to our home library :) only downfall is not many options in English, but that's to be expected in...
