Read moreA very lovely island, with some historical back story. The palace is nice, but the most unique features are the grottoes rooms (designed to oceanic/natural themes) and the garden which is gorgeous.
The entrance fee is rather steep, but I think the unique grottoes rooms and the garden made up for it. Audio guide is expensive - €6 for one QR code - apparently as a package for multiple islands. But we didn't need all the others. Another shame is that you don't have access to some part of the garden.
And ferry interchange timetable/docks can be confusing and you'd planned better to avoid...
