We decided to stop here for lunch — big mistake. We were seated quickly (so far, so good), and someone came to take our drink order. But apparently someone else had to come take the food order. Why? No explanation. Just unnecessary and inefficient.

When the second person finally came over, we mentioned we just wanted to share a pizza — and were snapped at and told that's not allowed. Excuse me?? That is absolutely something that should be made clear upfront, not barked at customers mid-order. Rude and unprofessional.

Everything felt rushed. Food came out quickly, but sadly that’s where the positives end. The pizza was barely passable and the pasta? Absolutely awful. I've had better out of a microwave. And don’t even get me started on how we felt afterwards — let’s just say we will not be returning.

We had to go up to the bar to pay — again, why? For a sit-down place this all felt very slapdash.

Do better. The view might save you, but your service and food...

Ho avuto la sgradita occasione di pranzare qui con mio marito, un posto che davvero non consiglierei mai.. il personale è molto scortese , scorbutici e col fare sempre seccato, sembra che i clienti gli diano fastidio.. ti guardano con un fare arrogante che ti mette a disagio, anche solo per farti portare del pane..o una bottiglia di acqua.. i camerieri sono velocissimi, a passare da un tavolo all'altro, senza servire i clienti che aspettano molto per essere serviti.. le attese per un primo si protraggono per almeno 50 minuti se capitate ad agosto.. quando arriva il primo, vorresti buttarlo nel lago, per quanto sia disgustoso.. mettono spezie e aromi piccanti praticamente ovunque.. la lasagna piccante piena di pepe nero macinato grosso, è orribile, copre il sapore naturale della lasagna e tutto ciò che senti è il piccante del pepe, che ha solo uno scopo, in questi ristoranti di bassa categoria, si servono pietanze volutamente speziate per due motivi : coprire l'odore di pietanze che non sono più fresche e iniziano a puzzare di stantio e marcio e far in modo che il cliente mangiando speziato sia invogliato a consumare bevande, visto che è con queste che di solito guadagnano, vini cari e birre, acqua.. ecc.. qualsiasi piatto si ordini, è speziato.. lo farebbero anche col risotto ai funghi che non prevede il pepe.. non a tutti piace ustionarsi la bocca e avere la gola e la lingua in fiamme.. ci sono persone dal palato fino, che apprezzano cibo fresco e genuino dal sapore delicato e abilmente cucinato.. fermarsi in questo luogo, è stato un inferno.. mio marito aveva l'insalata piena di pepe nero.. o quello sembrava.. io ho lasciato praticamente tutto ciò che ho ordinato.. e me ne sono andata a stomaco vuoto con un'orribile sensazione di bruciore e infiammazione alla gola! l'unica nota piacevole il patio esterno vista lago e i passerotti che rallegrano l'atmosfera ( ma che i camerieri cacciano in malo modo ) e l'accoglienza fredda e antipatica che i camerieri e i proprietari sanno dare a questo luogo, suo malgrado orribile tanto nella cucina quanto piacevole esteticamente.. il prezzo è normale nulla da dire.. ma il cibo.. sarebbe da buttare nella spazzatura.. cuoco inesperto o mentecatto, con problemi seri di dosaggi con spezie e aromi.. oppure troppo furbo, nel cercare trucchi per camuffare cibo avariato ( o quasi ) e far bere i clienti.. non vogliatevi male.. non...

The restaurant sits right next to the lake with a wonderful view, so it doesn't bother to offer anything else. The dishes were very plain, the bread was cold and stale and served in a paper bag (??), the salad was very simple with the vegetables barely cut, and no dressing - only olive oil and balsmic vinegar in a little plastic bag like you would get ketchup in mcdonalds. The pasta was not tasty at all, and the parmesan cheese was also in a bag for some reason. The prices are quite high, especially when considering the quality of the food. The staff were nice but not so attentive. To summarize, the view was great, but that's it, you can sit by the lake literally anywhere else in Isola bella and it would probably be...
