La Praiola — Attraction in Terrasini

It's seems like this beautiful hidden gem has already been exposed to many people. Back then, it was only the locals would hang out in this beach, it was not crowded and just as many people have stated, you can't take away your eyes from thos breathtaking crystal clear light blue sea! I really enjoyed my time at the beach just for strolling.

Unfortunately, they have decided to rip off the tourists. You cannot hire beach umbrellas and beds for half a day, you have to pay full rate even for 1 hour. This is ridiculous considering how many people come to the beach. I saw one set change hands 3 times so they earnt 60 euros. There are no facilities for kids and you pay each time you use the shower. Looks beautiful from the top of the stairs, once you get to the water you will see and smell how dirty it is. Smelly and littered with trash, dirt suspended in the water and bits of rubbish floating everywhere. After some investigation, this is due to the discharge of sewage from the nearby failing wastewater treatment plant and restaurants discharging sewage directly into the water.
