La Sirenetta — Restaurant in Cinisi

I didnt make a reservation, place was full and busy. But they managed to add a table for us... then forgot about us for 10 mins. Not a big deal if I was happy with the food. Frittura Mista di Pesce 2 plates .... small fish was missing. They substitued with more of calamari / shrimps to the dislike of my kids. Other than that it was ok, but not very inspiring and I've eaten better. Also it was quite hastily served..people here posted how it can look on your plate if you care. I did not bother to take a picture. I got myself some simple pasta with salmon, if I recall right it was farfalle (I often order something my kids would eat instead of seafood just in case). This meal was also subpar... nothing interesting about it... Maybe a suggestion.. if you cannot serve your guests well because you are too busy... turn them away. Or get a low review. I spent a week in Terrasini with my daughter, and we started every single day with breakfast at La Sirenetta. Fresh Sicilian sweet and savory pastries paired with creamy cappuccino and a stunning view of the marina… We often came back for lunch or dinner , and every time the food was incredibly fresh and delicious. Their pasta, pizza, and seafood are absolutely brilliant. We tried other restaurants in the area too, but finaly, we chose La Sirenetta for our final dinner in Sicily... What truly makes this place special is the wonderful owner, whose passion for feeding people is obvious. He is the heart of the restaurant, and the amazing dishes are cooked by his talented wife.
