Boat Service Lake Como — Attraction in Tremezzina

We booked 3 boats for our wedding for 26th July 2022. We were told boat service lake como does not included any drinks. My husband paid an extra €300 cash to our wedding co ordinator Creative Lake Services who gave to the boat service lake como. The best men and guests boat were provided with drinks during the journey. The bride boat (mine with my bridesmaids) were not offered anything or were told there were drinks on board during 45 minutes journey in a hot weather.

Enquired with Boat Service Lake Como after the wedding about the non drinks and asked to be refunded for one boat. They refused. They stated it was not their fault!!! They stated I didn’t asked for it. Surely drinks were paid for and when you get on a boat, shouldn’t the boat driver stated the water and soft drinks were on the boat and where. Avoid booking boat service lake como if you want to lose money.

I am sorry, I disagree with your reply. You are missing the point. When we got on the boat the driver did not informed us there were drinks on the boat. Secondly €300 was to cover 3 boats with drinks. I only found out after my husband asked me after our wedding day if I had the drinks on my bridal boat, as I said previously I wasn’t aware. The driver could simply say there were drinks on board if needed. Secondly I have no idea where the drinks box were located. You said its in front with the driver, how would we to know it’s there? it could be a fishing box for all we know. Again The boat driver could simply pointed out to say where the drinks were if we were thirsty or not. That is what good customer service is about. I do not understand what has being cheerful and chatty has got to do with it??? Are you saying we do not need any refreshments if we are cheerful and chatty? An additional €300 on top of hiring the 3 boats (pretty expensive for water or soft drinks would not mind if it was wine ) and my bridal boat did not get any.. am I wrong to complain or ask for a...

We had a wonderful day on Lake Como with Flavio! The boat was beautiful and in perfect condition. Flavio was professional, charming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the history, architecture, and natural elements of the area. He found perfect spots for photos and even a lovely park for us to have a picnic lunch. When the Grand Hotel Tremezzo failed to provide waters, glasses, and a bottle opener for our picnic, Flavio came to the rescue! He also provided great recommendations for local restaurants and encouraged us to walk the Greenway del Lago di Como, a scenic 8 mile walk, which was another highlight of our time on Lake Como.
