Me and my wife organised our wedding at Torre Crestarella in 2025, August.
Despite being summer the weather was perfect, the terraces facing the sea and the little breeze helped a lot. The location is fantastic and the several views and balconies make it a special spot for photos and for any formal celebration on the Amalfi coast. The organization was optimal too, Mariangela, the venue manager, and Sabrina, the planner together with the catering company led by Fiorenzo are impeccable, flexible and ready to find solutions to any last-minute problem.
Foodwise, we were in the hand of their Chef Marco Laudato, with his tasteful creations, all the guests were properly served (and believe me, making an Italian crowd happy with the food as well as the international one satisfied with the right amount of alcohol is not easy job). They managed to excell at both.
Also, the coordination with the many suppliers we brought in for the event was great - florist, live band, solo musician, service audio/video etc.. were well informed and welcomed in the venue at the appropriate time. Cake/sweet buffet was served right after 11pm and the open bar started serving 5 of our fave cocktails, as agreed, straight away. The other terrace, the one facing the Salerno waterfront, then opened and we continued with Yuri Menna live acoustic session where we all sang our favourite songs, tipsy and cuddly.
The night finished with an energetic DJ set, meshedup by me the groom and my wife, in the underground (buy very ventilated) distillery, where we could make all the noise e wanted. I must admit, I pumped the bass a bit more than usual.
Overall the event was a success! Our 150 international and Italian guests joined a memorable wedding and kept complimenting us days after the event.
Thank you to the Torre Crestarella staff for being so flexible in personalising our wedding and to accommodate all our requests and our detailed timeline, full of games, speeches, songs, dance moments.
A huge thank you from...
Read moreAbsolutely not worth the price — 25€ per person for what? A deeply underwhelming experience from start to finish. The beach charges an outrageous 25 euros per person just to access a sunbed and umbrella — that’s 50€ for a couple before you’ve even touched the water or ordered anything. And no, that price doesn’t include a towel, a drink, or even the most basic courtesy. Everything else costs extra. Want a bottle of water? Overpriced.
The beach area is cramped, and they pack in as many sunbeds as possible with no breathing room at all. You’re shoulder to shoulder with strangers, and it feels more like a beach-themed waiting room than a relaxing coastal experience. There’s no peace, no luxury, and no charm — just rows of bodies and noise.
The staff were indifferent at best, giving off a clear vibe that once you've paid, they couldn’t care less. Service was slow and dismissive, and any questions we asked were met with blank stares or shrugs.
For the amount they charge, you’d expect at least a premium or scenic experience — but honestly, the beach isn’t even that nice. It’s small, rocky, and lacks the natural beauty and charm that the Amalfi Coast is known for. There are so many better beaches nearby that don’t feel like tourist traps designed to empty your wallet.
Would never go back. If you're looking for value, atmosphere, or even basic hospitality, avoid Crestarella...
Read moreBeautiful beach, small and clean, and not overcrowded like the rest of the Vietri beaches. It is quite expensive (€45 on weekday and €60 at the weekend for beach access including 2 loungers and a parasol) but I would say its worth it. In addition to the cost, it was also quite problematic to actually book the place during the high season - we were told at least on one occasion that the beach was "fully booked". I would recommend booking though the phone number provided as one of the people dealing with bookings can not speak any English which is not massively helpful.
The only thing I did not like was the bar - we were not allowed to sit at the table under the canopy during lunch as our drinks and a plate of chips were not classed as food (very odd). Maybe the bar owners need to rethink their sitting arrangements as this was just...
