Somarè Pizzeria e Trattoria — Restaurant in Vietri sul Mare

Highly recommend to anyone passing through Vietri sul Mare! It’s a homely restaurant with an authentic feel. We’re all vegetarian, so we were a bit apprehensive since the menu is meat heavy. However, this shouldn’t put you off!

It seems like a family owned restaurant/pizzeria - you can see the locals come by to pick up their takeaway pizza, which is a good sign! However, we went for the pasta instead, which was a simple but delicious affair.

We went there but the service was so slow even if it was only half full, we waited for a good while and left without even ordering. The food looked good and the woman making the pizza seemed to be hard at work, the rest of the staff seemed less hard at work unfortunately. There is a cozyness to the place when arriving but the table was a bit awkward to sit at with the lighting being a bit too strong to feel relaxed and the tables were a bit low compared to the chairs and so wide that I felt far away from my company. What a wonderful place to dine out, the head Waiter and all the staff make your evening very special with amazing friendly professional service, giving great advice on wines and all the dishes they offer. Food is in my opinion of the highest quality ingredients from the local area and cooked superbly and looks high-end. Prices are also extremely good. The Best place to eat in this area!.
