It has audio of chanting Ainu elderly (the native people of Hokkaido), full sized house of Ainu people.
The tools they used and make for hunting or farming. Also you can have interaction with different kind of bird sound in the exhibit area. There's a binocular you can use to spot the local bird that they place it on the tree in the middle of the room.
Why can all museum be like this? It's so much fun walking around in it. It's a small museum but have a nice display and experience. The ticket is very cheap and the place is also clean.

Read moreI came here on a weekend in November and there were hardly any visitors. So it was as if I had the whole museum to myself. Haha. It is a relatively small museum compared to the museum in Sapporo. If you are fast, you can leave in less than an hour.
This is not a standalone unlike others. This is formerly a snow crystal museum, but they converted it to a city museum. I wonder why.
Since the event receives relatively few visitors, you can play in the snow outside without worrying about disturbing...
