Nara Prefecture Complex of Man’yo Culture (Man’yo Museum) — Attraction in Asuka

The museum itself has a lot of historical stories and movies on top of figures that transport you into 7th century Japan. Although the tour has several AR zones that you can scan and view while enjoying each spot, the AR is pretty barebones, and the English translations do help, though.

When you're down in the figure and movie section, it is only in Japanese so your mileage may vary depending on your Japanese level but I do hope you can enjoy as much as I did with my limited...

2017.08.04.(金)12:30 初来訪 (奈良斑鳩人) まず駐車場から玄関までの アプローチと 庭がトテモ美しいです 日本最古の お金と言われる「富本銭」が コノ地で発見され ソノ詳しい内容の分かる 展示物が 有るトノ事で 足を運びました

玄関を入ると 圧倒される程のスケールと 美しさに驚きです 1階受付の方に尋ね 向かった 地下の特別展示室には 敷地内で 発見された 飛鳥池工房遺跡(富本銭等鋳造) から出土した 多くの遺物の展示と 分かり易い説明が有り

また一般展示室では 富本銭が実際に 発見 された場所が 室内に有り その箇所の床が アクリル板になり 発見された時の状態が 再現されたモノで リアリティーが有り そのアイディアにも 感心しました！

館は コレら以外にも様々な催しが有り 意義 有るモノですが 規模が大きく 最新の設備が 随所に使われ 贅沢豪華な施設です 受付の方に「幾ら位かかりました？」っと 尋ねると『35億！』って言うかと思えば 館と公園を合わせて『86億』って・・・

私は 勿体ないと思いましたが 造った物は 大いに活用しないと もっと勿体なくなり 奈良県が誇るに値するか 勿体ナクないかは 多くの方に来てもらい 大いに活用する以外 他には有りません

日本画展示室以外は 無料なので 兎も角 出来るだけ多くの方に 来て頂ければと 願うばかりです 館は 2001年(H.13)に開館と 聞きましたが 県民である私が ココの存在を知ったのは 一週間前のコトで トテモ残念な事です
