Higashimachi onsen — Attraction in Beppu

Beautiful local onsen, the most southern in the city of Beppu. Entrance ¥100, you need to bring your own towel and shampoos. Operation time 06:00 - 22:30, no parking. Beppu onsen stamp at the reception, put the money in the little slit. You need to go down a few stairs to reach the bathing area. You can see your stuff while bathing, no lockers. The place is very cute with a taste for art, there is a lot of floor space (tiles) and a small size oval shaped tub (blue tiles) at the center. Beautiful murals on the walls, one depicting Beppu bay with Takasaki mountain, another with a cat and cherry blossoms. The source flows into an ultra hot tub in the corner of the room. If you want to add hot water in the bath tub you need to remove the wooden plug which is located under the water sideways close to the little step, be careful the water is really hot. Be sure to close it after you finish if you are alone! You can add cold water to cool down the tub through a hose. Recommended!...

別府浜脇温泉巡り🚙💨 浜脇温泉の垂れ幕に、電車の待ち時間にちょっと一風呂☝🏻

受付の側に明治コナミルクのベンチがありますが、大切に長年使用されてるでしょう…なかなか年季が入ってます。この時点で脳汁💦テンション上がり浴場へ💨脱衣所一体型のオーソドックスな広い浴場には不釣り合いな小さな浴槽。壁絵が描かれ、脇には並々と原泉がプールされオーバーフローしてました。ホースが浴槽に引き込まれてるので加水できます。少しぬる湯だったので浴槽内側刺さってる木栓を外し、原泉投入〜浴槽から温泉がオーバーフロー〜贅沢です🌈しばらくすると若い男性が…挨拶して会話開始。帰省していて…小さい頃によく入浴してたので懐かしくなってと…。

男性にとって簡単に幼少期にタイムスリップできる場所なのでしょう。いい話を聞けれました。だから共同浴場巡りはやめられない😁

蒸し暑い日に朝見地区から崇福寺まで歩き、汗を洗い流したくなり温泉検索してこちらを見つけました。 昭和レトロを感じる雰囲気で地元向けの公衆浴場。 お湯が熱かったので、「熱！」と口に出したら、先客さんが湯加減調整のやり方を教えてくれました。ホースの水を入れて温度を低くし、浴槽の木栓を抜いたら温泉が出て熱くすることができるとのこと。良い湯加減になりました。 平日の午後3時前でしたが、男湯は私含め一人二人程度で空いていたので、リラックスして過ごせました。 外にもベンチがあるのでお風呂上がりに涼むのも良いです。建物の傍に空き地があってそちらにもベンチがあります。 猫ちゃんの写真があったので、地元に人に尋ねると、飼い猫で管理人さんがいらっしゃる時に一緒に来ることもあるよ...
