3.26.21 My first time visiting the park and it's really beautiful with the sakura. It's a large park and smoothly lawned so it's a great place for outdoor gatherings and picnics. Much quieter than Beppu Park (albeit afternoon on a weekday). Mostly spotted some families and dog owners, but truly a vast space for your own peaceful...

駐車場が完備されていて四季折々の花々を楽しむことの出来る立派な市民公園です。芝生の広場や和風庭園もあります。犬の散歩に連れて来た人をよく目にします。丁度散歩に最適な広さがあります。そして県外の方々にも広く知られています。 今は3月中旬。厳寒なので枝垂れ梅の開花は遅くまだ三分咲き。緋寒桜や梅が満開で色鮮やかに咲き誇っています。河津桜は散り始めました。椿や馬酔木は咲き始めました。 ザリガニ釣りの場所としても有名です。別府にある小学校ではクラスに水槽を置き、ザリガニに名前をつけて飼育しています。とても可愛がられているようです。 私がこの公園を訪れるきっかけとなった御衣黄。知人に黃緑色の桜が咲くから見に行ってみて！なんだか半信半疑でした。しかも玖珠町の人に聞いた話。一歩足を踏み入れるといっぺんに気に入りました。足繁...
