The three bridges represent the past, present, and future. Don't look back on the past. Don't stop in the present. Don't trip over the future.

太鼓橋は、その名の通り、まるで和太鼓のように美しく弧を描く姿が印象的で、訪れた瞬間に思わず足を止めて見入ってしまうほどの存在感を放っていました。特に晴れた日の橋のたたずまいは格別で、水面に映る姿もまた風情があり、写真好きの方にはたまらないスポットだと思います。

実際に歩いてみると、見た目以上に角度が急で、ちょっとした冒険心をくすぐられます。一段一段がしっかりとした造りなので安全ではありますが、上りきった時のちょっとした達成感や、高い位置から境内や周囲の風景を見渡せる開放感は、何とも言えず爽快でした。

歴史的にも由緒ある橋ということで、ただの通路としてではなく、“心を整える一歩”として、静かに渡る時間がとても贅沢に感じられました。水と緑に囲まれた空間に、この優美な曲線の橋が絶妙に溶け込んでいて、日本らしい美意識を感じさせてくれます。

周囲には自然や庭園が広がっており、季節によって桜や紅葉との美しいコントラストも楽しめそうです。私が訪れたのは新緑の頃でしたが、橋の朱色と若葉の緑の対比がとても鮮やかで、視覚的にも癒されました。
