Daishokan — Restaurant in Dazaifu

Restaurant ran by very cute grandmas and ladies. Very sweet and kind. The Matsugae mochi is very delicious and cheap here. Crispy at the bottom and they pack plenty of red bean inside. We paid about 150 yen for one mochi. The scenic view is relaxing and pretty to watch while you eat. Food was so good we ate it before taking pictures. Definitely recommend coming...

Not really good food, but you're here for the relaxation, the view of the pond, the great rest with friends. The clerks are highly enthusiastic, the tea tastes traditional.

Operated by a group of elderly ladies, the food is really comforting and tasty. The udon soup has a lot of flavor to it and the dipping sauce of the cold soba has a hint of sweetness that makes it very appetizing. The katsudon is also good. Well worth the walk to the restaurant which is just...
