I've looked forward to riding Fujiyama for a long time and finally got my wish. One word of advice for those wearing spectacles, if you want to see clearly on the ride, then put on contacts because spectacles are not allowed to be worn. Neither can you bring phones or cameras. I came here on a Monday in Feb 2023 and the queue was almost 1.5hrs. The ride was thrilling with several weightless moments and sharp violent bends that would satisfy most adrenaline junkies. The one day pass costs 6,400yen per adult. But it doesn't include Fujiyama and a few extreme rides. Taking into consideration the long queue time for Fujiyama etc, we didn't get the day pass since we will run out of time before we get to...
Read moreMy experience was not worth going on this coaster. They required me to take my glasses off and I couldn't see anything on the ride, everything was blurry and I did not enjoy it due to this. Also wasn't allowed in the front seat even if I waited. Was not told on the website that glasses (with straps around the head tightly) are required to be removed, despite already have worn them on the world's tallest and fastest roller coasters (Top Thrill Dragster and X2 for example) with them and the straps on. Was also not told about front of the seat being a fast pass requirement. No signs in the park state these rules and the website doesn't either. Parks in USA run...
Read moreFujiyama being a HyperCoaster located at Fuji Q Highland near Mount Fuji. Fujiyama is a Togo coaster, and opened as the tallest roller coaster in the world. The restraints are weird but comfortable, being a massive lap bar. The ride itself is quite rough and can give you a headache, but I enjoyed it a lot and ranked it number one in the park. (I missed out on Eejanaika because it was closed) The layout isn't amazing but its just pure fun, thats if you don't mind rough coasters. But to be far the coaster did open in 1996. Overall a great coaster.
