ITALIAN＆BAKERY MACARONI CLUB — Restaurant in Fujiyoshida

Do not pay attention to any other reviews that aren’t 5 stars. The food is exceptional. So exceptional in fact, that me, my husband, and our son came back for lunch the next day after enjoying dinner here. Over two days we had swordfish (fried and grilled), duck, gnocchi, rotisserie chicken, two different kinds of salads, Japanese eggplant and chicken pasta. Everything tasted awesome! There wasn’t a thing we didn’t like. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. We are traveling with an infant and they had baby seats with belts available as well as baby utensils and plates. Their bakery is also great and we got some sweets and a caramel latte to go after lunch!

There might be a slight language barrier, but as my husband and I have experienced all across Japan for the last three years living here…they do everything they can to make sure your needs are met and your questions are answered. We cannot wait to come back and eat here! I don’t have any photos to attach, we dug in every time and inhaled it all haha....

Had an awful experience at this place. I’m coeliac and I was staying at this hotel however they could not cater to gluten free dietary needs. Ended up not being able to eat at the restaurant.

What made my experience worse was how the staff handled everything. The waiter came up and down to our table 5 times even though I had a dietary explanation written in Japanese on my phone. The fact that a ‘resort’ could not make a simple/plain dish from scratch and that everything included wheat was very strange. Even a chicken a salad ??

I’m not the type of person that usually writes negative reviews but I want to make sure that people are aware of restaurants that do no cater to individuals with dietary restrictions.

A very upsetting evening during...

Dont know why there’s so many “good” reviews, i guess its good because of the pizza, which I havent tried yet. However, the first time I ate here I had a tomato eggplant sphagetti, it was not that good and tastes the same as the fast food chain Freshness Burger which tastes better in fact. Then, we came back to give it a second chance and the sandwich was not good. The soup was also very liquidy, maybe packaged bought? My friend ordered omlette and she got hers after we already ate our meal. Took very long to arrive, felt like 30 minutes and only 2 other people were there. Dissapointed. Our waiter was very...
