Momochi Seaside Park — Attraction in Fukuoka

Momochi Seaside Park holds a special place in my memories from four years ago, a serene escape nestled along the coast that offered more than just picturesque views. A good choice for leisure in Fukuoka Hakata area. The beach is okay, sand is good. But when we went, there was a foul smell in the sea breeze similar to a rotting crab (probably an isolated case). Locals are freely swimming in the area, and some groups bring their own food to celebrate. There is no entrance fee. There are lots of restrooms, and restaurants are in an area accessible by the beach. It's just a few-minute walk from bus stations, and nearby the Fukuoka Tower. A nice man-made beach in close proximity to Fukuoka City. It's definitely not the nicest beach in Fukuoka, but good for a half-day visit if you're living within Fukuoka City. Restaurants, outdoor barbeque, bars, tacos, and water sport rentals are available here. If the weather turns, the nearby Fukuoka Tower is worth a visit, and Boss EZO and Markiis are nearby too if you want shopping, leisure, or entertainment.
