Yukari Cabins — Attraction in Furano

This place is run by a lovely couple. Very friendly and willing to help but English is quite minimal. The owners offer breakfast (toast and jam), soap and shampoo in the outdoor shower area, free washing machine and dryer, and transport from and to the station. So they get 100% for service but the venue itself is very very rough which is about what you should expect for $30 a night for a couple. The walls are just timber sheets screwed to a frame. All wiring is exposed. The rooms are tiny. But a big shared living area makes up for the lack of space in the room. Very comfy mattress. Overall, for $30...

Couldn’t recommend more Yukari Cabins. Kevin and Andrea are extraordinary hosts. Very helpful, always available and full of informations regarding Furano, places to go for food, amenities and where to ski.

We spent 8 nights in one of their brand new apartments in the wooden lodge. Very cosy, clean and fully equipped. The location is perfect, close to everything and nestled in the woods. If you are lucky, you might even enjoy a lovely moment at night around a fire.

I was surprised on the local map it looks not that far from the station, but it is. 10 am and 5pm he will drive to the train station and waits for people with a sign board. Do that! Say that you want to be picked up at this times.
