Step over Kamakura, this is the most beautiful beach in Japan! I mean, of course that’s a matter of opinion, but this beach is stunning and far more peaceful than better-known beaches in Japan. Come here around sunset on a lightly cloudy day and listen to the waves rolling in. That’s how I spent the last day of 2020, and it was the best thing I did all year. I highly recommend this spot.

Kikugahama beach is cool with few fishermen and swimmers. Water was crystal clear and some jellyfish were visible. The waves were pretty awesome and funny to play with. We went in early July and there were very few people on the beach. We stayed over in a nearby hotel and the sound of water waves the whole night was a marvelous experience to have.

We went in winter but cant wait to see it in summer. Clean beach with golden sand and clear waters!

まだ海水浴シーズンじゃない今が人も少なくゆっくりできる。海も透き通っていてきれいで掃除もされてるらしくゴミ一つ落ちてない。近くに有名な旅館もあってそこで宿泊したらぜいたくな時間をゆっくり使えると思う。きれいな自然にはいろんな生物に会える。浜にはかなりすばしっこい小さいカニがおる。動きが忍者のようにかなり速い。とにかく笑っちゃうぐらい速い。捕まえたら死んだフリをするらしく急に動かなくなる。海には色に同化してわかりずらいけどキスゴもおる。ウニもようけおる。エイもおる。海草に小魚が隠れとる。いつまでもずっと残っていてほしい自然です。
