I recently visited the Snow Peak Land Station Hakuba shop, and it left me thoroughly impressed! Nestled in the snowy Hakuba Valley, this store is a haven for outdoor lovers and shoppers alike, boasting an impressive variety of products. From high-quality camping gear to local souvenirs that showcase the region’s unique charm, there’s something for everyone. The collaboration with Starbucks inside is a delightful surprise, offering a warm retreat with its recognizable logo prominently displayed on the exterior. Inside, the use of Snow Peak’s own camping furniture for tables and chairs adds a quirky, immersive touch that perfectly aligns with the brand’s outdoor ethos. The on-site restaurant enhances the experience with its inviting ambiance, while the backyard features additional seating and tents, creating a cozy outdoor extension even in the snow. The architecture is a standout, with a modern design featuring large glass windows that frame the stunning snow-covered mountains in the distance—a breathtaking fusion of man-made beauty and nature. The unique wooden lattice structure on the roof, visible in the photos, adds an artistic flair, blending seamlessly with the snowy landscape. The surrounding snow piles and icy eaves further emphasize the shop’s picturesque winter setting. Whether you’re browsing tax-free items or simply soaking in the views, this place is a must-visit destination that beautifully combines shopping, dining, and natural splendor. Highly recommended for anyone exploring Hakuba!

Read moreExtremely disappointed on the sales people and the Company policy. Got the exact same jacket a day before the sale begins, and I asked for any Refund Policy that allow customer to refund the difference between the original price and discount price.
Unfortunately, the Company doesn't not offer similar policy like Uniqlo. I feel like the sales people did not disclose or willing to communicate any upcoming promotion. More like they are focus on selling the item out and achieve higher commission.
Understandable if the management encourage sales team to act like this, but is this how it consider putting customers service first?
Furthermore, the item was a display that I got and some store policy would offer discount to the customer for accept the display item as a way of “Thank you”.
Please kindly re-consider your Company Policy and train your staff the sense of fairness. As for now, I could only say I feel the purchase experience was not fair and being...

Came here for lunch at the restaurant, and oh my god, the view when we entered the building! Facing directly the northern alps, this is one of the ultimate "lunch with a view" moment.
The service was great; all the staffs were attentive and they explained the menu politely to you, and also were very kind.
The food is on the pricier side. They are actually standard Japanese home cooked meals, but using the finest ingredients in the area and fancy utensils. But standard meals are... standard. Yes indeed the vegetables tasted fresh and clean and everything, but overall flavor was bland.
Would probably give it more chances some time in the future, but for now, the experience was everything...
