Transparency upfront: I did not eat there (though I certainly tried...)
I tried to reserve for 1 person on the day. They state that on-the-day reservation is until 15:30, a completely inappropriate time considering that the lifts are open until 16:00 or later. I tried to reserve online but as I was about to complete, it was 15:30 and the page blocked the reservation. I called at 15:45 and even though they had seats, I stay at the hotel there, and it was only 15 minutes later, they simply said it was past the deadline, no explanation. When I arrived in person, I tried again, but they did not change their mind.

Read moreAwful! Food was ok but overpriced. And staff were very rude and snobby, as if they’re the only nice restaurant left in hakuba. Went to the restaurant looking very packed, so asked for reservations for the day after. The lady in the reception is very very extremely RUDE. full on RUDE. Then Why The Hack went in for 5 mins just to bring the laptop yet cannot make reservation ? Then shouted at us they can’t and yelled at us full on. Honestly. Not worth the wait or being treated like that. There’re more nice restaurants out...

We chose the short course because we're light eaters, 2 appetisers 1 main , additionally can add dessert with extra cosr. Staff speaks English and is very attentive. Come during day time and you can see the...
