６月上旬頃は川エビやドジョウ、メダカ、ウグイの幼魚などを捕まえたり水遊びしたり、活気に満ちた広場になります。 ２歳くらいの子供でも膝下ほどの水深の場所が多く、小さな子も怖がらす遊びやすいです。 この敷地内の水は湧き水で人口の渓流を経て馬込川に合流させており、活発な小学生はこの湧き水スタート地点でよく遊んでいます(浅いけどやや豪快に水が流れてる) 流れが少なく水草が茂った場所はエビ取りに絶好の場所で、童心に返ったおじさんが幸せそうに網を持ってたり子供に捕まえ方を指導したりしています。 キャッチ＆リリースと環境保護の気持ちを大切に皆で長く大切にしている公園(遊具は無い)なのでゴミは必ず持ち帰りましょう...
