Pretty nice interior with local souvenirs and food. You can rent bikes here for 500 yen, which is a great deal (apparently there are electric bikes for 1000 but they were not available when we arrived). The bikes aren't the best but we managed to get to Mt. Iwaki on them and back in one day with time to spare - though the tourist info person didn't think it...

It not only has a lot of information and resources about Hirosaki and Aomori in general, it also exhibits the famous huge paper lantern artworks and has a lot of space to rest before moving to the next scenic spot. A shop selling souvenir is also there in the facility. The staff at the counter is friendly...

Nice place with air-con. Bought two post cards with price tags shown JPY100(110 with tax), the sales lady asked for JPY142, told me that one of the post card costs JPY132, after payment, she just went to torn off the shown price tag. Not a really good...

A shop selling souvenir is also there in the facility. The staff at the counter is friendly and helpful.

弘前城追手門前にあります。弘前市内の観光案内やお土産だけでなく、ねぷたや工芸品の展示や販売もしています。訪れて面白いと思ったのが、リンゴ王国故に弘前市内にはアップルパイを提供する飲食店が多数あり、個性も富んでいて食べ比べもできる観光マップがありました。旅程の都合でアップルパイは食べられませんでしたが、来訪前に知っていたら是非食べ比べはやってみたかったです。 猛暑の8月に訪れましたが、冷房が効いていて観光でヘトヘトに疲れた体にはとてもオアシスに感じました。
