A truly interesting and informative experience. Offers information in both Japanese and English languages. Also has audio information available via a free wifi system with English instructions on how to join. There are some children activities but those are only available in Japanese. Read moreI visited the Noguchi Hideyo Memorial Museum while I was near Lake Inawashiro, and it was an unexpected delight. I was amazed that the actual house where Hideyo Noguchi grew up has been preserved exactly as it was. Learning about his legendary achievements once again left me in awe of his contributions to medical science. Although the admission fee was a bit high at 1200 yen, I did not have high expectations initially, but I’m really glad I took the time to visit.
