Kaigarayama Park — Attraction in Kamagaya

Small but beautiful park with a man-made lake complete with fountains. You'll find rare birds, endangered turtles, koi fish and of course cherry trees and a ton of hydrangeas. Great place for a picnic or just reading all day in a hammock. Lots of dog walkers and a couple of areas for kids to play on jungle gyms and such. Early mornings a man sells locally grown vegetables and in the afternoon another man comes by to sell smoked baked yams. Every few days there a women's group that does Tai chi. There's three restrooms around the park that are very clean and one has a changing room...

Very cozy little park, ideal for a short stroll. The pond in the center has got a if carp and turtles. A few benches along the patch can be used for sitting under the cedar trees to enjoy the view.

There are toilets in the park but they had a strong smell of urine and a large spider above...
