Japan TCG Centerイオンモール沖縄ライカム店 — Attraction in Kitanakagusuku

A tourist’s perspective (Duel Masters Collector and Player): Super clean and tidy, and situated in a huge mall that has everything for everyone. Not very crowded on a weekday. Saw a few pairs of players playing Pokemon TCG. Even the staff on duty will officiate the game and narrate enthusiastically.

I came to purchase cards (duel masters singles to be specific), and this place is exceptional when it comes to that. They have loads of singles racks (of which 80% or more are in mint to perfect mint condition), and many display cases of more valuable singles from CGs such as DBZ, Magic, Yugioh, Pokemon, DM, One Piece. JTCGC also sells single random packs or boxes, as well as many accessories for collectors (though their supplies are slightly pricier). Each single costs ¥30. i did not sell anything, so i cannot comment on that even though i’ve see. some reviews commenting on that...

Politely asked If they had Gundam card game new type rising and one of the staff said “no” and “sold out” right away. The other staff seemed to know what I was talking about and I came to the other side and looked around and saw they had about 5 unopened boxes 💀 Had to come back with another person because they only sell 10 card per person. Couldn’t even give me the box that was already empty or a new box since a new box comes with 20 cards. Had to ask for plastic bag to go and my receipt 😂 They don’t seem to care if you are not Japanese In this store. Definitely won’t be coming back. Bad...

Staff makes me feel like I’m bothering them. They try to ignore me whenever I need help. Only 1 person took the time to help me and now I don’t see him working there anymore. Sad. The staff doesn’t look happy to be there and customer service is lacking tremendously. No longer...
