The Ropeway to the Herb Garden is split into 2 section. First stop is at the bottom of the garden. Recommend to stop at second station. Second stop is at the top and where you can walk down hill. Bottom exit to Nunobiki Park. Hiking trail with water fall and the poem rocks. Return ride ticket is not needed if you plan for the hike in Nunobiki park.

I visit the Kobe Herb Garden on January 2025. This place is beautiful all four season. Main attraction is the Fragrance Museum The Glass House with green house and tropical plants The Veranda Restaurant to enjoy tea Observation Deck, Hammock all over the garden.

Recommended route is to take both ropeway to the Fragrance Museum. Walk down along the way to enjoy the garden. At the Middle Gondola station. Take the ropeway down or Hike to Nunobiki Park with...

Decide to go check out the Kobe Nunobiki Heb Garden today and I have to tell you that if you are interested in flowers, herbs, plants and trees this is the place to visit. I have seen many botanical gardens around the world and this has to be one of the best I have ever visited. Obviously there is a ton of work that goes into keeping it beautiful and they are doing it. The variety of plants is overwhelming. The glass house is really beautiful as well. Out side the glass house you can get some drinks and relax with the beautiful view of Kobe. I had the Elderberry tea and it was great! There is a walkway from the very top hallway down to the other gondola station with places to relax or go to sleep in a hammock. If you want you can walk all the way to the bottom as well. What an...

A beautiful serene park located at the top of a hill. To get there, you take a ride up a cable car with spectacular views of Kobe!

At the top of the garden, you have a German styled village with a few places that sell German dishes and beers.

The descent down is an incredible, beautiful variety of flowers, and the smells are magical.

There is a great foot bath by the glass house, and the burger sold at the restaurant is juicy and tasty!

We spent some time on the hammocks enjoying the mid day sun and embracing the tranquillity of the park.

You can collect the stamps through the park, which can be fun for collectors or younger children.

100% recommend if you are...
