UCC COFFEE MUSEUM — Attraction in Kobe

Excellent place for coffee lovers. The museum is in a beautiful building and has a nice cafe inside. If you can answer all 5 questions in the quiz corner, you get a free admission pass for one year! At 300 Yen($2 or so), the admission fee is very cheap. Go up the escalator to the top floor and then come down the winding path for a very good study tour of coffee making including its origins, history and culture across the world. It wasn't crowded at all on the Thursday I went, and the 300 Yen ticket provides the entrance fee and free tasting. The tasting was a little disappointing. I was hoping for a more interactive tasting like many of the beer manufacturer tours. However, can't expect a lot for 300 yen entrance fee. I would gladly pay extra for a more thorough and interactive coffee tasting with several of...
