Jumbo Seawater Park — Attraction in Kuwana

The water park is, in itself, an incredibly fun and exciting place; however, I can't give it more than 2 stars, and here's why. Our family paid over 25,000 yen to enter and enjoy the slides. I understand that it's the height of summer, so we need to be patient. However, we had to wait 2 to 2.5 hours at several spots, primarily because they keep the slides open for fast ticket holders. I find the concept of a fast ticket really objectionable. You pay a significant amount to access everything, but people who are willing to pay an additional 1,000 yen per person per slide get to skip the line. I understand that the park makes more money this way, but it comes at the expense of other paying customers, which I find outrageous. If that's the case, make the park free and charge per attraction. Water Park - TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

I went there (especially from UK) on 28/6 to be told the water park was closed, even though I checked online beforehand. Their website stated it closed during the week and reopens on 28/6. But when I arrived, the water park was still CLOSED! Nothing is mentioned on their website in English that the water park is still closed! I even translated from Japanese to English but couldn’t find anything to say Water park is closed. Their website should clearly state this because I come from a far distance.

So the only option was to buy the theme park ticket. However, out of the 18 rides, 9 of the rides were closed off such as the Acrobat and Cork Screw, Star flyer rides. So I paid 5800 yen only to use half the park!
