Panda Express Jazz Dream Nagashima — Restaurant in Kuwana

Decided to order here out of curiosity since I've heard Panda Express was a huge franchise at the US. Compared with other 'Chinese Food' restaurants throughout Japan there is nothing particularly good about Panda Express.

The "main options" (fried chicken, mongolian pork...) were good but the "base options" (fried rice, yakisoba..) were really bland and tasteless. The price seems good at first but there are other stores that offer an equal — if not better — price for much better quality.

I absolutely LOVE Panda Express!!! I used to go there pretty often when I lived in the USA, so when I found out there was one not so far from me in Japan (about 1h30 drive, actually), it made me very happy.

When I go to Nagashima Mitsui Outlet, I just can't eat anywhere else (even though I'd like to try other restaurants there), but I always end up getting the orange chicken and fried rice at Panda's.

Place is a bit of a joke really. Fast food style Chinese, ordering is pretty convenient and prices are low. But the food itself is rubbery and fake-feeling. I’d never heard of this company before I dropped in here, but I’m completely unsurprised to learn it originates from and is popular in America....
