Kesho — Attraction in Nagoya

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An amazing and intimate dining experience at Kesho! With only 6 seats, we got lucky — it was just the two of us during our visit, making it feel like a private chef’s table.

We had such a great conversation with the chef, who speaks excellent English. He’s originally from Niigata, and when we mentioned we were visiting soon, he even recommended his family’s restaurant there — such a thoughtful touch.

The food was a beautiful showcase of seasonal ingredients, with a fusion twist using Niigata flavors — cold noodles, sweetfish, summer vegetables, all prepared with incredible care. Every drink in the pairing was also from Niigata, and the highlight for me was the limited 八海山 sake, which was outstanding.

お昼のコース ¥16,500 をグルメ仲間と愉しんで来ました。

オーナー様自ら集めた調度品や器など、 どこを切り取ってもこだわりが満載でお料理以外のこだわりの部分も聞いていて凄く興味深くて楽しかったです。

日本料理に独自の感覚を加えられ、 何もかも凄く手間隙かけて 作られていて、

けれど食べるのは 一瞬だよね。という 話になったのですが

大将は 【残らない美が好き】 と仰ってて震えました💕 手間隙かけて作って 一瞬で食べる儚さが 好きとのこと🥺💕

カウンター席なので色んな話が聞けるし、みんなで質問攻めしてしまった🤣

器を楽しみ、お出汁を楽しみ、作る工程を眺めて質問しながら皆んなで食事が出来て幸せでした。
