Ukitama Factory — Attraction in Naoshima

The best place we visited and will remember about Naoshima is actually this place.

The owner greeted us warmly and even gave us postcards and a hand-written map of Naoshima for us to have fun finding his frogs around the island.

The only thing we regret is there was nothing to buy as a souvenir and support his frog artwork.

Ukitama Factory was honestly the best part of our entire Naoshima visit. The space is filled with unique, imaginative pieces that really stood out from anything else we saw on the island. You can feel the creativity and care in every corner. I only wish the owner sold the artworks—I would’ve loved to take one home. A must-visit if you're looking for something truly special and off the beaten path...
