They have so many types of roses and what is great, they have new roses too, not only the old classic ones that you see in every park. The newest section is autism back of the park behind the big bushes, they have many WABARA roses there. They also sell potted roses but not cheap. On a sunny day it gets crowded at the ticket gate you must line up some 15 minutes especially in high season. In winter they have some Pro Staff with Rose trimming lessons that you can attend for free just buy the entrance ticket. You can find such lessons ontl their website. And after watching the garden you can have a delicious Indian lunch at the restaurant along the small central shopping alley towards the Yatsu station. Will definitely go again, half as expensive as Keisei Baraen and they have...
Read moreIt is my first time visiting (2024/5/15). The roses are in full bloom! Some of the roses have already wilted a little. I think visiting this week will be the best time. It was so much fun. The garden was not too crowded (but maybe because it is weekday). It's not large in size but every roses were beautiful. There are so many varieties. My favourite is the aroma garden. It feels like bathed in rose essential oils. They smells so good. If you love taking photos of nature, you could easily spend 2 hours there. There is some benches too. Remember to wear sunscreen and bring umbrella when it is sunny. The rose ice cream was...
This rose garden is located adjacent to the Yatsu Higata (tidal flat). The garden boasts an area so large that it would take more than 30 minutes just to walk around it. The south and north sides of the garden are slightly elevated, so the view of the rose garden is designed to be enjoyed from all directions, taking advantage of the difference in the terraces. Although small in scale, the garden is divided into several areas, where visitors can enjoy a variety of rose varieties, including roses developed and presented for royalty and royalty, and roses with a mellow fragrance. Spring roses can be enjoyed from May to June, and autumn roses from October to November. The park is open to visitors during the rest of the year, but of course the roses are not in bloom. There are benches set up throughout the park for visitors to take a rest, but during the period when the roses are not in bloom, it is better to think of the park as just another resting spot. It should be noted that the admission fee varies depending on when the roses are in bloom or not bloom at all. The higher elevations in the park are equipped not only with stairs but also with ramps, so that visitors with disabilities such as wheelchairs can easily...
