Fuji Midori no Kyuka-mura — Hotel in Narusawa

Rooms are large, comfortable and warm. Location is far removed from everything and buses are infrequent. The hotel does offer hourly shuttle service to/from nearby Karaguchiko station. HOWEVER, the staff are very bad at communicating. We were waiting for them to pick us up at the station in the cold weather. Although we made corresponding via email and made arrangements to get a hotel shuttle service, there was radio silence from the hotel and they didn’t come to pick us up until we called to check where they were. Also, while the hotel charged us to use the Onsen in the next door hotel, they failed to mention to us in advance that people with tattoos are not allowed to enter. Overall, we didn’t feel very welcomed...

Fuji Midorino is a comfortable 2-3 star hotel whose main advantages are views of Mt Fuji and a walkway connection to a public, natural hot springs that is nicely designed and well-run. It would be nice if the check-out time would be at noon to allow a second day visit to the spa (check out is 10 and spa opens at 10). Dinner and breakfast buffets are simple but tasty. Rooms are spare but comfortable, some with tatami sleeping, and some with western stye beds. Hotel is a bit over-priced for what it offers, but may be market...

近くのフジテンスキーリゾートから近い宿として一泊2日宿泊しました。 名前からして豪華絢爛とは真逆で専ら合宿や学生らの林間学校などで使われる感じの簡素な宿泊先です。 駐車場もとりあえず適当に止めて〜なので幸先が不安絶好調です。 家族四人で朝晩食事付きでも片手以下の料金でした。時期的に閑散だったせいもあるかな？

食事はバイキングでないだけ多少マシ? まあそれでも子供には少し不向きなメニューです。よくある揚げ物などは皆無。(コースによって違うと思いますが) お水だけは美味しかったですね。 下手に飲み放題のジュース類を飲むより富士の湧水？かどうか知りませんが本当お水は美味しいです。

お布団はセルフです。布団はペラペラです。本当簡素。 お部屋のドアはオートロック式で内開きなので入りにくく出にくい構造。 小さい冷蔵庫完備ですが、スイッチ式でデフォルトは切ってあります。 TVに関しては部屋の広さの割に小さい。 10畳？ぐらいで20インチぐらいの大きさのTVはみんなで見るのは厳しいですね。 とりあえず置いてあるだけな感じです。 ちなみに電波が酷いのかTVの調子がアレなのかまともに見られませんでした。 エアコンはあれど加湿器は無いので乾燥まっしぐら。花粉時期もあったのできつかったなあ。一階の廊下には加湿器稼働してましたが。

お風呂も大浴場的な所でジャグジーが設けられてます。露天風呂では寝そべりながら浸かる事も可能でその際富士山を展望できます。 当日はサッカー教室？とかで子供らがはしゃいでゆっくりできませんでしたが。
