The gardens above Otaru Port are peaceful and quiet, lots of carefully manicured shrubs, trees and lawns are very well maintained. Itโ€™s free to enter and free parking as well, I took about 45 minutes to casually stroll around taking in the beauty of nature and enjoying the splendid views of the port below. I visited the garden April 25 , it was a quite hill and u need to walk for a while if u took a bus to arrive to the garden but it sooo worth it , the view from the top is amazing especially with the Sakura , a great place for picnic , chill & Sakura...
