MOVIX Hashimoto — Attraction in Sagamihara

This movie theater is located about 5minutes on foot from the Hashimoto train on the Yokohama line. You can also access this movie theater by the Keio Yoimuriland train station. The general movie ticket is ¥1,800. The late movie fee is ¥1,300. However, there are many discounts on tickets for infants, disabled people, women’s day, men’s day, couples, seniors, university, high school and elementary students, moms with kids etc. You can choose to buy your tickets online (in Japanese) or you can buy at the ticket machine or at the counter in the movie theater. The ticket machines are in both English and Japanese. You are able to choose the seats you want. This is great because this option is not available in my country and many other countries. I went to see Alien Romles on Monday with my partner, and it was far more interesting than I expected. I was really impressed by the strength of the main character, Rain, and I found the ending quite satisfying.

However, when we entered the cinema, we found a couple sitting in our seats. The husband said, "Oh, are these your seats? There are loads of other seats, so you can just pick somewhere else." Not wanting any hassle, we decided to move to different seats.

Other than that, I had no major complaints. The cinema was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly. When I collected my ticket, the staff member asked if I had a point card. Customer service isn’t the greatest. On busy days they do not keep enough stock ready for the rush of people coming in. Stood for 20 minutes in line waiting to make an order just to be told that they were out instead of putting a sign up to let customers know. Definitely recommend Toho Cinema in Minami Osawa...
